Such a great way to spend some time with the family. I was trying to find something different to do with my two teen daughters & husband... something outdoors, enjoying the beautiful Fall weather. This trip was absolutely perfect. The boat was beautiful & the crew were all very friendly & welcoming (especially the woman bartending 😄👍🥃). The boat left promptly & the tour was wonderful. The scenery was gorgeous & the narration was clear & informative.
Took cruise to see fall colors. Unfortunately the fall colors were not that great. However we enjoyed our boat ride with family very much. The crew was great. Boat is clean and has ample space.
The crew were super knowledgeable and very personable to all the people on-board. Great to talk to and generally nice people. The natural views of the Hudson River and it's shores were fantastic and my wife and I learned new things about NY state.
Great narrated boat ride..tickets are $33 for adults and $22 for kids. I found a local flavor coupon for 2 adults for $33.00, so that was great! I would make bookings in advance. Lots of parking is available near dock but inwould arrive at least 15 mins before departure to secure a seat on boat if you dont want to remain standing. Seating is available on top (partial shade), in front and inside the cabin (a/c). There is a bar open for drinks and snacks, including alcohol and hot dogs.
Tips are appreciated for the crew at the end of the cruise. I wish they had some small merchandise for ourchase at end of trip like a hat, tshirt of even a fan. It would have been a nice touch.
Then after you could have a bite at the many restaurants along the strip. We tried Blu Pointe which was nice (check my review).
Excellent boat assistants. They carefully guided my 88 year old mom onto and off the boat. Although she was slow, she was not rushed. Also, once on water, they shared information about where we were and what to look at (saw a bald eagle). 33.00 is pricey so look for coupons. You will enjoy.
What a wonderful way to see the Hudson Valley! I have lived here my whole life and have never done this! My husband and kids had never been on a boat before, and I'm happy they were able to have this wonderful first experience!
This was a very relaxing journey down the Hudson from Newburg to West Point. The crew was friendly and very helpful. My only wish was for a little more narration of what were seeing.
A wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. If you live in NY Metropolitan area or are visiting, this is a must.
The crew are delightful as well.
